Skipper Training 18 Mai 2019 Brandenburg
To go safely and secure on the water, Yachtcharter De Drait offers a skipper training for the starting water sports enthusiasts. It is possible to rent a boat without a license in both Friesland and Brandenburg. In Brandenburg you need a Charterschein (charter certificate) for the license free route over the Havel river.
Would you like to gain more experience or are you beginning skipper?
Then we are offering the possibility to take part in a day course at Yachtcharter De Drait Brandenburg on 18th of May 2019. This course is especially for beginners and skipper with no or little experience with a motorboat. During the training you will gain experience in manoeuvring, berthing and turning in narrow water. Please note with your subscription if you are a beginning or a skipper with more experience. We then adjust our training.
During this day course we are focussing on the security and safety on the water. Therefore, you can leave the harbour with a safe feeling. In this course the basics will be explained as well. Such as the different knots, leaving and berthing at, keeping the boat on course, berthing parallelly, berth backwards in a box and turning in narrow waters. Next to these planned topics it is also possible to practice some skills on demand for instance slalom, anchoring and the man overboard manoeuvre.
The schedule of this day is as following:
- Welcoming with coffee and cake at our marina.
- We will put the theory into practice with some handy tips on the water.
- Lunch break.
- The afternoon program consists of 2 parts, where different topics will be practiced.
- At the end of the afternoon you will receive a certificate with a cist closure including some drinks and snacks.
