Date for two

Want to surprise your loved one in a special way? Go on a sailing holiday! At our marinas in Drachten and Woudsend (Friesland, the Netherlands) we have small, cozy boats available for rent for 2 persons (or 4, if you prefer some more space). These boats can take you to all kinds of beautiful places in nature, places you probably usually wouldn’t visit that easily. Enjoy the silence and the space, or sail to the idyllic villages surrounding our marinas, for example to enjoy a nice dinner together.

The boats

Our boats are suitable for 2 to 12 persons. Choose a cozy boat for 2 persons for example, such as the Bravoure 34 cabrio in Drachten, the Monty Bank Trawler 9.5 ‘Tessa’ or the Kotterjacht 10.7 GL ‘Nicole’ in Woudsend. This boat has one cabin with a double bed. Or book the even smaller Drachtster Sloep cabin. Would you like some more space or are you sailing with two couples? You can also choose the Classicline 1300, the Advantage 42 or a Kotterjacht 12.2 GL. These yachts have more living space and a spacious aft deck to sit comfortably and enjoy some snacks and drinks. Also, our boats have refrigerators in them, so you can bring as much food and drinks as you want. 

Boating license & skipper training

You do not need a boating license to rent our boats. Does none of you have sailing experience and would you like to gain some experience before sailing off? In that case, we would advise you to have at least one person do a skipper training in advance. This is of course also possible if you have already sailed before, but would like to gain some extra experience. More information about the skipper training can be found here.

On our webpage “rent a boat“, you can immediately see which boats are available during which period, with the corresponding rates.
