Check-in

Arrival at the marina

After you have booked a boat with us, you will receive a booking confirmation by email. The booking confirmation states the starting time: the time you can board the boat. You can enter our marina by car. In Drachten & Woudsend, parking costs €5 per day, €15 per weekend/midweek, and €25 per week (covered parking: €15 per day, €75 per week). After parking your car, you can check-in at our office. If the boat is ready, you can go on board and bring your stuff on the boat.

Instruction

After arrival, one of our experienced instructors will give you an instruction on board the rented yacht. Feel free to ask any questions you have. Do you expect to arrive after 17:00? Please let us know by phone (+31 512 513 276) or send an email to contact@dedrait.nl. That way, we can schedule the instruction for the next day.

Routes

The water maps of the Northern part of the Netherlands are available on board the boats in Drachten and Woudsend. In addition, you can choose to sail one of our favorite mapped out routes. Would you like some more advice? We are happy to help. You can always ask our team – for example your instructor – for tips and advice.

(Grocery) shopping

Would you like to do some shopping before departure? 

• In Drachten, the supermarket is a 6-minute drive away from our marina. It’s located in shopping center “De Drait”. There, you can also find an ATM and a drugstore, among other facilities.
• In Woudsend, the supermarket is a 6-minute drive away from our marina, it’s located in the city centre. You can also order your groceries online for delivery directly on our marina. 

Check out

Return

Upon your return, you can moor the yacht in one of the boxes on the jetty. Our team then ensures that the yacht is refueled. Make sure you have left the ship before the end time stated in your booking confirmation. The boat will then be prepared for the next departure.

Settlement

Checking out is done at our office. Here we make a final invoice of the costs, settled with the deposit paid. You can pay by card and in cash at the office.
