Yachtcharter De Drait is the starting point for an unforgettable boating holiday in the heart of the Frisian lake district. From our marina in Drachten (Friesland), we have been renting out our boats for over 35 years. Since November 2021, Jachtcharter Klompmaker in Woudsend (Friesland) has also become part of Yachtcharter De Drait. From these two departure locations in Friesland, we offer a wide variety of boats for rent – from large, luxurious motor yachts (up to 12 people) to spacious and cosy houseboats (up to 6 people), as well as sloops for day rentals (up to 12 people). Discover the freedom of the water with our comfortable and fully equipped boats, ideal for both beginner and experienced water sports enthusiasts.

Hundreds of customers sail a “De Drait” boat every year, and we do everything we can to give our customers an unforgettable experience. We love the profession, and that’s why we can’t help but keeping everything in our own hands: from building and maintaining the boats, to the sailing instructions for our customers.

Year after year, many loyal customers from all over Europe keep finding their way back to us. And we are extremely proud of that.

Have you rented a boat a number of times and are you now completely devoted to boating? We totally understand that. With Drait Yachts, we advise people who want to invest in their own boat. Where possible, we make an offer out of our collection of new and second-hand boats. In addition, we help boat owners who want to sell their own boat through yacht brokerage.

Storage and maintenance of boats

Jachthaven de Drait

With Jachthaven de Drait, we help boat owners store and maintain their boats. We do that by providing a large number of berths and winter storage. In addition, our specialised and experienced boating engineers help boat owners to maintain their boat and fix possible technical problems.
